Sarah Walton

Sarah Walton is currently finishing her training to become a rural family physician in Red Deer, Alberta. Previously she worked as a registered nurse in Edmonton in the emergency department. Through CHiLD, she has been able to direct her interest in nutrition, children’s education, and global health toward helping some of the most vulnerable populations around the world. She feels incredibly blessed to be part of a grass roots charity that makes a real difference in the lives of children by meeting their basic needs in some of the poorest areas of South Africa, India, and Haiti. In the future, she hopes to use her medical training to serve her local community as well the broader communities that CHiLD partners with.
