Securities

Donate Securities through CanadaHelps

A donation of securities or mutual funds is an efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes don't apply, you can give more and get more.
Tax receipts are issued through CanadaHelps and are easily accessible.
All donations $20 and over will receive a tax receipt from Community Health International Learning & Development (CHILD) Foundation by email through Zeffy unless requested otherwise.

Gift Policy
​The spending of funds is confined to agency approved projects and purchases. Each gift designated toward an approved project will be used for that project with the understanding that, when any given need has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by CHILD, designated gifts will be used where needed most.

​Medication - South Africa
Help children, teenagers and parents in George, South Africa thrive in a community free from the harm caused by substance use disorder.
A full treatment course of naltraxone for alcohol use disorder costs $290 per person.
Methadone treatment costs $75 per person per month.
Nutrition - India
Provide protein rich rice for children from poverty-stricken families.
$160 pays for rice for a child for one year.
Wells - India
Provide clean drinking water for a village in India. 
One well costs $2000.
You can sponsor a whole well or part of one. If you choose, you can also dedicate it either to a loved one or in memory of a loved one who has passed away. Once the well is finished, you will get a photo of the well with the villagers and a picture of the well’s plaque with the dedicatee’s name on it. Please contact us if you choose that option.
Nutrition - Haiti
Provide severely malnourished children with high protein nutritional supplements.
$100 pays for one box of 150 Medical Mumba bars.
