October 2nd,
Come join us at our fundraiser and hear how, despite COVID, CHILD has been able to KEEP MOVING FORWARD in 2021/22 and plan for 2023!
In the past two years, COVID has brought a halt to so many things worldwide, yet CHILD has been able to KEEP MOVING FORWARD and fund a wide variety of projects in India, South Africa and Haiti using the donations so generously given at last year's fundraiser.
In India, two examples out of many are the purchasing of two water buffalo that will provide an abundance of milk for all the children at Metropolitan Home and School. Also, CHILD funded a new tractor that plows the field and plants crops with the aim to KEEP Metropolitan Home MOVING FORWARD toward self-sufficiency.
In South Africa, many people have been able to KEEP MOVING FORWARD in their lives as they have benefited from the alcohol, cigarette and drug cessation program that CHILD has funded. Hope has been restored to people who long ago had lost all hope.
In Haiti, children have been restored to health in the nutrition program which CHILD sends funds for, allowing them to KEEP MOVING FORWARD into a future of health and well being.
These are only a few examples of the ways in which CHILD has been able to, and continues to, transform lives---from childhood into adulthood---from hopelessness and despair, to hope and promise! To KEEP life, and all it has to offer, MOVING FORWARD!
Please help to KEEP CHILD MOVING FORWARD and come join us and be inspired, by attending this fundraiser that celebrates all that has happened through CHILD in 2021/22, and all that we are planning for 2023! Plans that will only become reality, with YOUR HELP.
ALL DONATIONS WILL BE MATCHED BY AN ANONYMOUS DONOR!
SO IF WE RAISE OUR GOAL OF $70,000, THE FUNDRAISER TOTAL WILL BE $140,000!!!
To purchase tickets for the event, please contact a CHILD board member who you know or email us (childsocietyorg@gmail.com) and we will put you in touch with a board member in your area.
