We got some very encouraging mail recently . Here is an excerpt .
Greetings to you from Metropolitan Mission. We had a wonderful college students meeting on 17th of August. More than 60 college students studying courses like Intermediate Degree, Medical, Engineering, Polytechnic and other technical course had gathered. We had a time of devotion and a nice lunch .
We discussed their progress and any challenges they were facing.
Later we distributed them with the note books and the scholarship for the students studying various courses. As you know all the college students come from Dalit background. In the end we prayed for the college students as they have entered into a new academic year. We also want to thank CHILD FOUNDATION once again for the burden you have taken to support needy children in India. All these students are from our Metropolitan Mission Children Home and are excelling in their studies.

We remember this girl so well from our team visit at the Children's home. She was always smiling and studying very hard.
What an honour to now be able to go to College.
She and the others have overcome many obstacles in life to get so far.
We wish them the best and we are confident that they will use their gifts and talents to improve their world!
