An exciting day for our partners in South Africa!
Recently SAHARA ordered another shipment of medicines, funded by CHILD. These medicines are provided for free, under the direction of a doctor, to those who come to SAHARA looking to treat their substance use disorder. These medicines are expensive and not publically funded, so having the support of our donors has made a huge difference for those who want to change their lives but don't have the money to pay for treatment. Last year SAHARA treated over 250 people, and floods of people have continued to come to SAHARA and request their help this year as well. We are looking forward to hearing more stories about how these medicines will play a part in healing people and bringing health and hope to them, their families, and the community!
