Michelle
Michelle got involved with CHILD in 2011 after her first trip to India, when she volunteered at Metropolitan Mission. She then volunteered on the board doing communications from 2012-2016. Afterward, she stayed connected with CHILD doing photography for fundraising events.
Michelle's professional background is in education and communications.
Michelle lives in Edmonton with her husband and three young kids. She enjoys being out in nature and working in her garden.
As the Donor Liaison, Michelle will build and maintain positive relationships with CHILD’s donors through regular communication and expressions of gratitude. This includes communications by snail mail, email, phone and in-person meetings. She will be further developing and maintaining donor databases and identifying and engaging with new donor groups. Michelle will also be assisting the Board with the organization of CHILD’s annual fundraisers.
