Our charity, CHILD, seeks an organized and dedicated individual to support our work with partner organizations in India, South Africa, and Haiti. This role will focus on donor relations and essential administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Donor Relations and Communications:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with our donors through regular communication and expressions of gratitude.
- Develop and maintain donor databases.
- Communicate with donors primarily by phone, with email and in-person meetings as needed.
- Identify and engage with new donor groups
Partner Organization Liaison:
- Assist in communications with our international partner organizations.
- Maintain project spreadsheets in cooperation with partners.
- Gather relevant updates and info from partners for donor communications and newsletters.
Administrative Support:
- Collect, organize, and track key documents and information from international partners.
- Data entry: enter and maintain personal donor information and financial data in spreadsheets and platforms such as Zeffy (including tax receipt records).
- Prepare agreements between CHILD and partner organizations in conjunction with funds.
- Maintain and organize Google Drive filing system.
Fundraising Support:
- Assist the Board with the organization of two fundraisers per year.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Google workspace.
- Willingness to learn other relevant platforms, such as Zeffy.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse partners.
- Cross cultural experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in administration, fundraising, or customer service preferred.
