Wells for India

We are happy that 8 wells were drilled in villages in Andhra Pradesh as a result of our donor's generous support ,due to  the request for funds on World Water Day, 2016
​Here are two excerpts from the 8 reports we received  from Metropolitan Mission regarding the wells .

Chandragudem is a little homogenous
hamlet near Jangalapalli.
There has been a terrible scarcity of water
and we could not help till we received
your assistance. We have given to
the community a water well which has
safe drinking water. The community as
a whole thanks Child foundation
for the generous offer.

 Pullur: Pullur is a medium sized village with 5000 people. It is a mixed community of backward classes and lower classes. It has a separate segment of Dalit community.  With the assistance of Child foundation we were able to drill a nice bore well in the Dalit segment of the community. They  were overwhelmed by the surplus drinking water.
