Here are a few photos showing the progress being made on the well drilling in Andhra Pradesh, India. Nils and Michelle spent a week at Metropolitan Mission and got a tour to see the amazing progress made with the drilling of wells. The majority of villages that have been suffering from water shortage, have been supplied with a well in the last month. Some boreholes have been dug, some are still in the process of being drilled. Drilling in dry season, means the drilling has to be deeper to get to the water table, which ensures there will also be water in the next dry season. During Nils and Michelle's visit, the temperatures soared up to 48 degrees. Imagine the joy of the villagers, to be relieved of the stress to find water to survive.
