A big step for SAHARA’s community initiatives!

Though CHILD is not directly funding the Planet Youth program, we still wanted to congratulate SAHARA on this big milestone!
The Planet Youth program was created in Iceland, and dropped the percentage of youth who participated in underage drinking from 42% to 5% over 17 years. The Planet Youth approach includes implementing extra-curricular activities and encouraging more parental involvement in the lives of youth.
We hope this questionnaire will be the start of a successful program that will change the lives of the youth in South Africa, and therefore change the future of the country!
